September 13th marked the ninth edition of World Sepsis Day. On World Sepsis Day, an initiative by the Global Sepsis Alliance, we raise awareness for the global impact of sepsis. Annually, there are an estimated 50 million sepsis cases worldwide, causing 11 million sepsis related deaths.
